Making New Connections1

Offered help in a power outage, comforted children and connected with parents.

Power went out, I went out to the hallway to reset the power incase it just tripped and saw a young boy scared and crying. He was alone and I offered comfort as I could tell he was autistic. I got the parent permission and offered light and introduced him to my kids. He calmed down and came repeatedly to my apartment when he got scared during the power outage. His mom came home a while later and thanked me. We connected and she is now pending to go to church. Lovely experience.
